Metro Chicken- Easy Chicken Recipe for the Lazy People
Me and my hubby are die-hard foodies. Every time we are together, we think of food, we dream of food and talk about food. But the irony is both of us are too lazy to give the effort to pamper our taste buds. So every time we wish to have something special for our lunch or dinner, we search for the easiest yet sumptuous recipes that can be prepared within a very short time.
Last week my hubby had a very bitter mood due to some problem at the office. He came back home nagging. I tried to console him, but nothing proved to be useful. Then an idea came to my mind. I thought why not prepare some tasty delicacies to boost up his mood. I was confident that this trick would work as I knew that good food always worked as a wonder for hubby and me.
I started brainstorming on how to make a delicious and easy chicken recipe within a short time-span.
Within 15 minutes, I came up with an idea. A super easy chicken recipe came in my mind. I want to share this recipe with you.
Actually this recipe is for the lazy souls like me. But trust me, I had never disappointed anyone with my cooking. You can try out this easy chicken recipe and impress others. I named this recipe Metro Chicken for the fast Metro lives.
- 250gm chicken
- 1big onion chopped
- 2tbsp butter
- 4-5 garlic pieces chopped
- 2tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1tbsp crushed pepper
- 4 green chillies sliced midway
- Salt as per taste
- 2pinches of sugar
- 1tsp vinegar
Melt butter in a frying pan. Fry the chopped onions until it becomes light brown. Add the chillies and chopped garlic and mix for 2-3mins.
Now add chicken and fry it for 5mins. Add salt as per requirement. Add vinegar and mix it well. Add tomato ketchup…mix all uniformly.
Add pepper to it. Then add sugar. Cook for 10mins. Your fastest and easiest chicken recipe is ready to serve.
Optional modifications…half bell pepper sliced vertically ,coriander leaves,3tsp soy sauce or 1tbsp oregano can be added as per your preference…white oil can also be used instead of butter if you are health conscious.
