Motorola Moto X Render Images Leaked
Smartphone leakster @OnLeaks has recently leaked the original render images of the Motorola Moto X, a device that was rumored to be in the pipeline for sometime. The renders of the 2017 edition of the Moto X is based on factory CADs (Computer Aided Designs). Along with images, there is also a 360 degree view of the device provided below that your eyes can feast on.
As of now, the device is not confirmed to be the Moto X, but the hardware specifications suggest so. Alternatively, it can also be a Moto C, but the chances are slim.
The leaked images show a 3.5mm jack and a microUSB port on the device. The USB port is the older generation USB 2.0 port, not the newer USB C. Up front, the device is missing a 2.5D curved glass and the square home button that was there on the Moto Z. The home button is a pill shaped one, much like that of Samsung devices. The physical button should have a fingerprint sensor embedded.
Moto Z still a Flagship
It seems that Moto X will not be a flagship device, not even close to it. The device screen size is only 5.2 inches, which is smaller than most flagship devices. The camera module on the back is similar to that of the Moto Z, but specs are unknown. Also, the leaks suggest a metal body and a design that does not get along with the current line up at Motorola.
Recently, leakster Evan Blass claimed that Motorola Mobility and Lenovo were planning on completely replacing the Moto X lineup with the Moto Z. This would make Moto Z the only flagship from the company.
However, there was no official statement regarding the new device that you see. So, take everything with a pinch of salt.
